對志工來說，熟知志工倫理是比志工技能訓練，
還要更深層的事。要擔任「志工」這角色，並不
僅僅是有體力、夠熱心而已，做到對職位的認同、
與管理單位的相互尊重，是投身志工任務之前所應
具備的事。 

For these volunteers, the ethics of volunteering goes
deeper than an agenda in the training program. A
“volunteer” mandates not only physical strength and passion,
but identification with the role, as well as mutual respect with
the management.

志工與合作單位之間的相處，應著重於虛心接受
建議、避免擅作主張。玉山國家公園管理處志工保
姆李慧雅表示，一般而言，機關之所以招募志工，
就是希望能多一份可彈性運用的協助力量，以彌補
單位人力之不足，因此，志工須建立「認同自己是來
協助的角色」之觀念，以單位的需要為服務前提。

The first thing asked of volunteers is that they be prepared
to accept suggestions and refrain from arbitrariness.
Volunteer Manager Hui-ya Lee of the Yushan National Park
(YSNP) Headquarters observes that organizations generally
recruit volunteers for extra flexible support. It is therefore
advisable that volunteers come with the acknowledgment
that they are there to provide service as required by the
organizations.
